FBI

Good episode tonight - I was expecting a politics fest at the start and was glad it wasn’t that - the twist at the end that the frat leader misled them the whole time and the victim wasn’t in the drug ring. It’s rare that a twist catches me off guard but that was good.

So I guess Jubal is out for a couple of episodes? He deserved his suspension and his whining to Isobel irritated me, a first for him. Will be interesting to see how they do without him given that he kind of coordinates everything and interacts with everyone. I guess Isobel will have to be more hands on now.

Good fall finale - actually probably my favorite of the season - I knew Clay was bad news from the start but I didn’t realize just how rotten he would turn out to be. Will be interesting to see if this affects OA going forward. Nice role for each character. Scola’s new partner does nothing for me and I’m glad she’s not sticking around.

One of FBIs most intense episodes ever tonight. A lot crammed into just an hour, and I think this plot might’ve been better for the next 3 way crossover if another one happens given how much was going on and the magnitude of the case. It was gripping from start to finish but there was so much crammed in that it was more fast paced than normal and it left me with a few questions, such as why the NYPD wrote off the lawyer’s death as a suicide so quickly, and it seemed like more people would be involved than just the terror cell we saw.
Good stuff for each character - weird how Scola’s latest partner is gone for good now, he’s gone through at least 3 since Tiffany left, the latest one made zero impact on me.
Very intense episode, nice to have the FBIs back

I read - I think at TV Line - that Scola’s new permanent partner has been cast. ETA: Yep, TV Line:

Yeah I heard that as well, I hope she’s a good addition. It’s weird how his last partner didn’t last long at all and before that he had a couple of partners over the course of a few weeks following Tiffany’s leaving.

Seems to be a lot of behind the scenes issues on Wolf shows the last few years. (See also: Law & Order: Organized Crime and what seems like a new executive producer every season!) Whatever is going on, like you, I hope this character/actress “sticks”…

FBI original had a steady cast for years, it’s just the new character who was supposed to be Scola’s permanent partner didn’t go over well with anyone and the showrunners came to think the character was too young from what I heard and so they wrote her out.
FBI original has had a very steady cast - Maggie, OA and Jubal have been there since the start, and Scola and Isobel have been there since season 2, even a lot of the background characters have been there for a while. Dick Wolf shows frequently undergo lots of cast changes so it’s kind of surprising FBI has had such a steady cast.
L&O: OC is a mess and I really don’t know why they renewed it other than they want to keep Stabler around because they want him to make appearances on SVU and be a part of Benson’s life. The show has run out of stories and is just a Stabler family soap opera now, and I’m not even going to watch it now that it’s on Peacock, it’s not even an L&O show really. But that’s a discussion for the L&O forums.

Another solid episode tonight. I liked the suspense and the case, and it was nice seeing Jubal have a feature role. I did predict that one of the marshal’s would be a bad guy, saw that coming, other than that good twists and turns and I liked the scenes between Jubal and his informant.

Pretty good episode tonight, interesting that it was just Maggie, Scola and Jubal plus the analysts but the show has a deep cast so it worked fine even with fewer characters, I liked the scenes of Jubal and the analysts and Maggie/Scola working together.
I did think Maggie messed up at the start, she should’ve had them closer to move in on the bad guys, I guess she thought it would spook them but it didn’t end well regardless.
Still a solid episode that flowed well

Good episode tonight - I liked seeing OA/Scola work together with Maggie absent. Good scenes with Jubal and company at headquarters as well. I liked the twist that the Marshal was the target and not the jurors.

Another good episode tonight - good twists throughout which sometimes isn’t the case with hostage situation episodes, flowed well.
Really glad this show has been renewed, still disappointed the other two FBIs have been cancelled

I’m happy this one was renewed as well.

Yeah, this show has a great cast, very likable characters with strong chemistry together, and the episodes are usually very compelling and gripping. It’s a strong show. I’m very disappointed MW and International were cancelled, both of those are great as well, but I think FBI original has the best characters.

Yeah, I like all the characters here, too.

Good episode last night, I liked having a serial killer case, nice investigation and I liked seeing Maggie/Scola work together. No sign of Isobel or OA in this one, but Jubal and the analysts at headquarters were good as usual, each character made some nice contributions in getting to the bottom of the case.

I get why characters tend to disappear for any given episode - the budget, or lack thereof. But you’d think there would be some explanations written in as to where Character X or Y had gone. Shrug.

Yeah sometimes they toss in an explanation for why a character isn’t there, other times they are just absent. Doesn’t really bother me on FBI as this show has a deep cast of characters to use.

Another good episode tonight - a lot of turns, first a mob murder, then undercover agents exposed, then the ecoterrorist plot, but it flowed well and was never confusing. I like the new agent pretty good, much better than Scola’s last partner. Not a lot for Jubal and his room of agents but nice to see everyone involved

Another good episode tonight - I did call the shot that the daughter was playing them and would turn out rotten. I liked the investigation, nice role for each character even with Maggie MIA. Nice to see the guy who played Dworkin on L&O as a drug dealing manager.

Dick Wolf does love recycling actors, i.e. Peter Jacobson/Dowrkin/drug guy.
