FBI

Yep and it’s always a pleasure to see certain familiar faces pop up in new roles.

Wow, that was a wild and twisted case - AI is scary, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see stuff like this happen at some point. As evil as the perp’s actions were, I understood his motive. Nice stuff for each character, Isobel dealing with the executives was good, and Jubal had some great stuff, and I’m liking Scola’s new partner, she’s fitting in very nicely unlike his previous partner earlier this season. I was concerned for Maggie at the end, I didn’t think they would kill her but still that was intense. Great episode.

Speaking of the show, CBS has released its fall schedule, and FBI - after its entire run on Tuesdays - will move to Monday at 9:00 p.m. ET, followed by CIA.

I’m still very pissed about International and MW being cancelled, and I won’t be watching the shitty sounding, cliched CIA show - sounds like a cheap knockoff of FBI original. So so stupid that they cancelled two strong spinoffs for cliched junk, but I guess it’s easier to produce garbage. And now they move FBI to Monday, the night of Monday Night Football, which probably means lower ratings. Not happy about this move. At least the show is returning, I love the show.

Pretty good episode tonight, I guess they are setting something up for the season finale regarding Duke and his followers, seemed that way from how it ended.

Wow, what a season finale, kept me on the edge of my seat. Isobel and Jubal took center stage, and I liked seeing the analysts get in the action at the end. I hope Isobel is okay, I haven’t heard anything about her leaving - I love this whole cast of characters and I’m glad we have at least 2 more seasons of FBI coming.

Anyone watch the season premier?

I watched it. It was entertaining and action packed as usual, though I found it one of the more far fetched episodes, I didn’t really buy a militia taking over an island over a few robberies, found it hard to swallow, but it kept my interest.

I was very glad Isobel survived and I liked the scenes of Jubal and his team at headquarters as usual. I hated that they killed off Rhodes, I liked her, Scola’s gone through a boatload of partners since Tiffany resigned, hope the new one lasts. I love all of the characters on this show, very likable bunch including the background analysts.

Very nice to have the show back! I’ll miss MW and International, those were good spinoffs, but I’m glad this show is back.

I agree with all this. The one nitpick I have is Isobel looked way too good for just having brain surgery.

Yeah Isobel didn’t look too rough despite having a severe injury and being in a coma. It will be interesting to see how long Jubal is entirely in charge of the office and when Isobel will return and in what capacity.

I forgot it changed nights. But I know some will actually be sort of disappointed that Isobel lived. I have seen many Law & Order folks wishing Connie would make a comeback and displace Sam… :face_savoring_food:

I liked last night’s episode a lot more than episode 1 - much more interesting story - I liked all of the twists, started out as a robbery/murder which led to the paintings which led to the plot to break the warlord out of custody. Twisted but never too hard to follow. Good scenes for each character too.

Good episode last night, entertaining plot and while I predicted the undercover agent that Scola knew would be involved he was a bit more sympathetic than I expected him to be. I think Scola’s new partner will be fine, I liked her on SVU last season

Good episode this week, I liked the twist of the apparent hitwoman actually being a vigilante, and it was a compelling case. Maggie and Eva worked fine together, and there was a good role for Jubal, Isobel and the agents at headquarters. I didn’t care whether the CIA got the girl to shoot the prince at the end, that dirtbag got what he deserved.

This week’s episode was my favorite of the season so far - great twist of the seemingly innocent bystander neighbor turning out to be one of the masterminds of the bombing and the motive twist was good too. Strong case and investigation.

Decent episode this week - the spy/diplomatic plots get somewhat repetitive but it was a pretty good case and I liked seeing Jubal and Isobel get a nice role. I like all of the characters a lot and I like how most episodes give each of them good material, show flows very well. I see the midseason finale next week is a 2 hour event.

The 2 hour fall finale was good - I liked how they were able to flesh out the case more. The twist about why the prostitutes were killed was good. I did predict the original killer’s wife would be involved the minute she appeared. Good stuff for each character. Look forward to the show returning in February.

These mid-season breaks seem to be getting longer. February?

The show went longer into December this year, so that’s why it’s off for longer into the new year. NBCs shows fall seasons ended in November so they return in January.
