Wow - very surprised they killed off Maggie’s sister. I don’t like personal episodes or excessive personal angst but it was certainly surprising to me

Well, Dick Wolf has killed family members in the Law & Order franchise! (Lennie’s daughter, Bobby’s brother [CI].) So, the tradition continues. I just hope Maggie doesn’t spiral or whatever.

Yeah it’s not uncommon for Dick Wolf to kill off characters, but this just kind of felt pointless. I felt the same way about the death of Lennie’s daughter on L&O, it was done for pointless angst.
